Product Description:

Ammonium chloride, a byproduct of sodium bicarbonate production, contains 24% to 26% Nitrogen and 65% Chlorine. It is also known as Sal Ammoniac, the salt of ammonia and hydrogen chloride. In its pure form, it is crystalline salt, white, but easy to caking. To avoid this phenomenon, it can also be granulated to Granule, which is hard to caking and easy to store. This compound is highly water-soluble and mildly acidic and can be used as a nitrogen fertilization source (corresponding to 90 percent of ammonium chloride production worldwide) in crops, especially for Wheat and Rice.

Production:

The byproduct of producing Sodium Bicarbonate:

NH3+CO2+H2O+NaCl=NaHCO3+NH4Cl

2NaHCO3=H2O+CO2+Na2CO3

Applications:

  • It can be used as a nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture. Its mechanism is similar to that of ammonium sulfate, but the soil acidification caused by ammonium chloride is more serious than that of ammonium sulfate.
  • It is a physiologically acidic fertilizer. It is not suitable for application on acid soil, saline soil and for planting fertilizer, seedling fertilizer or foliar fertilizer, nor for chlorine sensitive crops (such as tobacco, potato, citrus, tea, etc.) due to its high chlorine content.
  • It is more effective and stable when used in Rice fields, because chlorine can not only inhibit the nitrification of rice fields, but also facilitate the formation of rice stalk fibers, increase toughness, and reduce rice lodging and pests.

Packaging:

We effectively solved the problem of the caking of fertilizer by improving the appearance and quality of packages such as the thickness of inner bags, the tightness of bags and loading capacity of outer bags.

All kinds of customized packages can be provided according to customer’s requirements.

  • 25 Kg/50 Kg Laminated woven bags
  • 500Kg/600 Kg/1000 Kg/1200 Kg bulk bags
  • 20 Kg/25 Kg PE Valve bags or PE heated sealed bags
  • 20-27 MT loose or on pallet in containers
